Ask God

Psalm 145:10
Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God, thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

We are born into sin.

Our nature is sin.

We have to ask God to teach us his will and to lead us into uprightness.

In and of ourselves we are not able to live holy and be righteous.

We must trust God, believe Jesus, and follow the Holy Spirit.

We have to be taught his ways.

Here's a Good Prayer

Psalm 143:8
Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.

1 John 4:4
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

Because you are of God you have overcome the things that are not of God.
