Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

Man did not lay down his life and die for us...it is Christ. Man did arise from the dead for us...it is Christ. Man does not sit at the right hand of God and make intercession for us...it is Christ. Therefore, who is man to condemn? God justifies us through the blood of Jesus Christ, who can bring a charge against us? If God is for us, who can be against us?
