Proverbs 3:9-10
Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: so shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

Give to God FIRST!

Here are the results: filled with plenty and bursting out!

God wants to bless you until you do not have room to receive.

He only requires your obedience.

Trust Him enough to give Him your first.

God asks for a dime out of every dollar and a sacrificial offering.

He does not ask because He needs it. He wants you to be obedient.

Oh how He will bless you for your obedience.

Don't Try to Trace Him...Just TRUST Him!

Proverbs 3:5-8
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

Power Points

Don't try to trace Him, just trust Him.

Acknowledge Him in EVERYTHING!

Don't think you know everything or that you have to know everything.

Fear the Lord and separate yourself from evil.

This will keep you healthy.

My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: for length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: so shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

If you remember and keep his commandments, He will add days, life, and peace to you.

Keep mercy and truth close to you and you will find favor and understanding in the sight of God and man.

HOPE

Jeremiah 17:7-8
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

Power Points

Trust and hope in Him.

He will bless you!

He will "plant" you, meaning you won't blow away when the winds of adversity come your way.

He will plant you near water because water represents life.

He will give you life and life more abundantly.

Water is also a necessity.

While planting you(making you secure), He will meet your needs as well.

Not only will He plant you but He will spread out your roots, which means increase!

Not seeing when the heat comes means that you will not be afraid when adversity comes because you trust and hope in Him. He plants you and gives you increase.

The heat will not damage you, but your leaf will be green. A green leaf represents life. You will live!

During periods of lack in your life (drought), you will not be full of cares or anxious. You will continue to produce!
