Psalm 23:1
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
This is probably the first passage of scripture that many of us learned when we were younger. At that time we really had not experienced life and truly did not understand the meaning of the words we were simply reciting from memory.
I encouraged you to journey with me and reread this familiar passage and truly think about how it relates to your life and relationship with God.
The "Tevin Experience" would have been extremely difficult for me if I had not become totally engulfed with these words. Just from verse one we can gain a great deal of faith and confidence. Tevin knew that the LORD was his shepherd as well because he would constantly say and sing our God is an awesome God.
When life presents unfavorable situations just remember that the LORD is your shepherd. The shepherd is the one in control and has a plan. The shepherd is the one who knows what's best for the sheep. The shepherd is the one who takes care of us by providing what is necessary for us to live. The shepherd leads and guides. All we have to do is follow and we will want for nothing because the shepherd provides all.
