God's Love

1 John 4:10

Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Propitiate- to appease or make well disposed; conciliate

Because of Jesus we are reconciled to God; our relationship with Him restored.

In every situation, good or bad, look for God in it.

You will see his mercy all over the situation

WARNING: Sometimes you have to look deep into the situation to see his mercy and sometimes you have to look in retrospect to see his mercy.

We are born into sin.

Our nature is sin.

We have to ask God to teach us his will and to lead us into uprightness.

In and of ourselves we are not able to live holy and be righteous.

We must trust God, believe Jesus, and follow the Holy Spirit.
