Habitually Obedient

James 5:16 (KJV)
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Power Points
  • The word that remains the same in all translations is the word "righteous."
  • As Christians, righteous refers to being in right standing with God. We are declared righteous because of our position in Jesus Christ.
  • Righteous also refers to our conduct. Righteous means to act in an upright, moral way.
  • When we obey God commands, we act in an upright, moral way.
  • To be called "righteous" we must be found in Christ and make it a habit to obey God.
  • Your prayers will be effective, powerful, dynamic and produce wonderful results!
