Faith: Set Time

James 2:26
For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Work - the function of completing a process or carrying out a task; the physical or mental effort directed at doing or making something

There is a set time at which your faith (belief and trust) must go to work. Our faith should cause us to complete the process. There should be effort to make it happen. WARNING: We operate on God's time schedule. Pray, listen, and receive explicit instructions regarding your set time for your faith to move (go into action). Moving at our own will and not by the spirit of God may cause our efforts to be void, delay the process, or cause hurt or harm to ourselves or others. These things will definitely frustrate us. Therefore we have to be sure to move by the Spirit.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

Let's Revisit Layaway
In faith we have been speaking (God's Word)and praising Him about what we desire. In the natural, there is a set time when you return to the store with your receipt(faith). Your receipt(faith) is used to identify what belongs to you. When the timing is right and the requirements have been met, you put your receipt to work and you are able to retrieve the item that you couldn't see. It is so with your faith. What we believe in the Spirit will manifested in the natural at the set time.
